The Rebels Boys finished their regular season with a bang, winning every individual event against South Lakes Friday night at the Audrey Moore Rec Center.  The Rebels posted 6 REGION cuts including  Dive  (Peter Rossbach and Sam Johnson), 200 Free (John Kim), 200 IM (Joey Kelly), 100 Free (Travis Lauri) and 500 Free (Jake Baumgardner) as well as 3 STATE cuts including the 200 Medley Relay (Baumgardner, Lauri, Patteson and Kelly), 400 Freestyle Relay (Lauri, Patteson, Baumgardner and Kelly) and the 100 Fly (Joey Kelly).

Joey Kelly's STATE qualifying time of 52.92 is also a NEW FAIRFAX SCHOOL RECORD.  Congratulations to Joey.

The Rebels scoring was led by Peter Rossbach (1st Dive), Sam Johnson (1st 100 Breast, 2nd Dive), John Kim (2nd 200 Free, 2nd 500 Free), Joey Kelly (1st 200 IM, 1st 100 Fly), Travis Lauri (2nd 200 IM, 1st 100 Free), Austin Patteson (1st 50 Free), Jake Baumgardner (1st 500 Free, 2nd 50 Free), Patrick Johnson (1st 100 Back), Quinn Giroux (2nd 100 Back) and Ben Click (2nd 100 Breast).

Eight Rebels posted personal best times including John Kim (200 Free), Tim Milmoe (200 Free), Jake Baumgardner (50 Free), Travis Lauri (100 Free), Patrick Johnson (100 Free), Graham Smith (500 Free), Sam Johnson (100 Breast) and Ben Click (100 Breast).

The Rebels return to action next week for the Liberty District Swim and Dive Championships.
