Fairfax High School Athletic Booster Club
2009-2010 Board Elections
Have Been Completed for
President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer
Thank you to our 2008-2009 Board and committe chairs, without all yout support and dedication we would not have had the successes we did this year. My sincere appreciation.
Janet Sievert-President : 2009-2010
The President shall preside at all meetings of the FHS Athletic Booster Club and of the Executive Committee. The President shall perform such other duties as prescribed by these by-laws or assigned to him/her by the FHS Athletic Booster Club or the Executive Committee. The President shall coordinate the work of the officers and committees of the FHS Athletic Booster Club in order that the purpose of the FHS Athletic Booster Club may be promoted. The President will also serve as a liaison between the Club, Individual Team Representatives and the Athletic Director. In addition officers of the Board all assist in representing the Club at various special athletic events.
Sue Johnson-Co-President : 2009-2010
The Co-President shall act as aide to the President and shall perform the duties of the President in the absence or disability of that officer to act. The Co-President will also serve as a liaison between the Club, Individual Team Representatives and the Athletic Director. In addition officers of the Board assist in representing the Club at various special athletic events.
Annette McCormick-Secretary : 2009-2010
The Secretary shall record the minutes of all meetings of the Association and of the Executive Committee and shall handle all correspondence necessitated by the activities of the FHS Athletic Booster Club. The Secretary shall be responsible for taking attendance at the meeting and comparing the attendee list with the member roster whenever votes are cast. The Secretary will also serve as a liaison between the Club, Individual Team Representatives and the Athletic Director. In addition officers of the Board assist in representing the Club at various special athletic events.

In addition to financial support, the Booster Club recognizes that participation in high school athletics benefits everyone, and the Booster Club promotes opportunities to build and strengthen relationships among all involved: the student body, Fairfax High School staff, parents and the community. |
